We have had food composting here for years, at least 10 maybe more.I was surprised to see all the fuss about it TBH, that and incineration for non recyclable stuff is nothing new.

    Rat problem

Think one of the biggest draws to rats is BBQs, especially 'chilled out' neighbours, not tiding up, or leaving the tidying until morning after a jolly good BBQ.

    What's your weather like 2026

It was a very bright and sunny day today, but chilly in the shade. It has only just started to cloud over and eventually rain will set in over night and tomorrow. Better on Sunday and Monday.

    Mushroom compost

I've only ever used it myself as a soil improvement. You can usually only get it in bulk, not really looked to see if you can get it in bags.
