I have taken mine out of pots last autumn and transplanted into the ground with top dressing of ericaceous . Other acid lovers are doing fine in my soil and i have 3 water butts handy for where...
I have taken mine out of pots last autumn and transplanted into the ground with top dressing of ericaceous . Other acid lovers are doing fine in my soil and i have 3 water butts handy for where they are planted so i am keeping my fingers crossed that this works.

I like the moat method for seedlings I sow in the greenhouse and it works well (I put the legs of the stand in water so I have more room) but you do get intrepid slugs that scale the greenhouse...
