I wouldn't exactly call the use of Salvias under planting as they would swallow up the roses. I like to see my roses not cover them, so would be more inclined to use something at least half the...

I usually have good success with roses, I just get about a foot long cutting and shove in the ground. All seems to work for the conditions in my garden.

Snap i now only have space for some cyclamen in pots at the front, a mini kiwi plant in a pot, one lime marmalade heurchera for one pot and then what ever i decide to grow in the greenhouse....
