Elderberry tree - good or bad?
I'd keep it as well - a bit of height in a small garden can be very pleasing, plus you get the benefits of the bloosom (elderflower syrup) and the berries (wine).

Mock Orange tree
Either prune it after flowering, or cut it down to ground level in early spring. The main question is, do you want to keep it or get rid of?
