    Hello there

I thought I'd just introduce myself as I'm new here, but have been anonymously loitering for some months enjoying the discussions and getting some great tips from different members to help me out in the garden.

Just about to plant some Hardy Annuals for next year, hoping to get some amazing early-blooming cut flowers in 2016.

Anyone else already planning for 2016?

    Steve

Glad you've given up the life of a stalker and decided to join in :)

Yeah, I've got loads to plant out in the next month or so....... Carnations, Sweet Williams, Pinks etc. and then there are all the hardy annuals seeds to go in during Sept /Oct .

Thank you for your warm welcome.

Would you say I should wait to plant Hardy Annuals, Anthony? Should I perhaps be focusing on biennials at this point of the growing season (I'm in London).

Still trying to get my head around the logistics of perennial-biennial-annual sowings. Doing all of this outdoors, so that's another thing to think about. Saving up for a greenhouse...

I'd say it's too late now to start sowing biennials, although you may just get away with sowing Forget me nots.

It's really best to wait now for another six weeks or so and then sow hardy annuals.

Normal sowing time for perennials/biennials is from about April to the end of June.
