Wow...thank you all kindly for the very warm welcome! so sorry it took so long to reply, only just managed to get broadband fitted after near on 2 months, im not sure what to do really, ive never had a garden this size before and our last garden was barked so this is completely new to me lol, its like a part time job looking after the garden now, and ive not even started really, but i love it.....its a bit of man time and the kids love gardening too, so all is good :D

well it would be rude not to show a few pics of my progress so far....

here is a pano of the garden otherwise i can not fit it all in frame lol

also a few bits of turf had died, so i removed the dead turf and dug over, added compost and laid some of miracle grow's patch magic, which is absolutely rubbish! half the seeds have not germinated and it is very patchy, maybe thats why they call it patch magic :( think i might just buy some more turf and put it over the miracle grow grass seeds....

here is where i want my veggie patch, but everything is temporary for the time being, till i decide what kind of raised bed i want, i was looking at the link a board kits, also looking at sleepers and 4x2....just cant make my mind up, i want to grow maybe half veg and fruit, or maybe half veg and herbs? like i say lots of decisions to make and money to earn to pay for it all, but really excited
