Thought you might like to see a pic of my pond. We had a man with a digger excavate it in April this year. It rained heavily just after and we had to wait til all the lovely rainwater drained away before we could put the liner in, which was a shame. Everything has established well and it is such a pleasure. It is a wildlife pond, and has attracted insects and birds. Had lots of dragonflies, which is great, as since moving here 20 years ago have only seen one! Four different varieties have laid eggs. Sadly no newts or frogs yet, but it was past breeding time when we got the water in, fingers crossed for next year. It's my favourite place in the whole garden.pond, dragonflies

Looks great and certainly large enough to attract a diversity of wildlife! I'm sure the newts and frogs will arrive soon. :)

Loving the pond @Fizzing Ada. Just hope my smaller scale one will look somewhere nearly as nice as that when i get it built.
