I have a question. I put down some slug pallets on my flower beds, thus, around the Nasturtium.. would it be safe to eat them? I'm not into eating stuff that has flies on it, but just so no one else does?

    Thanks :D

No, I wouldn't eat the slug pellets.

The nasturtium will be fine to eat if you give it a rinse.

Yeah, I didn't mean the slug things.

So there's no way it could make it poisonous via the soil?

[If it does kill me, I won't hold it against you lol]

      Hey Kyle,

Shouldn't be possible, they do put warnings on about not getting them in things that heart up, like lettuce and cabbage.

If in doubt, read the lable.

I tasted a tiny bit of one before, tasted like eating an actual leaf! (edible or not) so doubt I'll be using them in food anytime soon

I eat actual leafs quite often, actually. Nasturtium has got a strong peppery taste which I would enjoy as long as it's not covered in blackfly.

And I didn't swallow the leaf I ate before.. just tasted like eating anything out of my garden!

I would not eat the Nastrutiums. Never know if they sucked in the poision up their plant through the water proess. Mine are up in hanging pots. But don't have real slug issues.
