    Hi all, new to this site as I came across looking for help about my lupins, (need to find some ladybirds) I now know that it was greenfly.
    Hope I will find some good advice on this site as I am new to gardening
    :)

    Welcome to the site Janet. I cannot help you find ladybirds it's usually them that find you. However, have you tried soapy water spray onto the greenfly. I have found this does help curb them a bit.

    Hi and welcome.

    Did you know you can buy live ladybird larvae? You can also buy feeders to make sure they don't starve while they get settled in and find their way around.

    There are certain plants that are said to attract them too. I've read numerous reports that nettles are one such plant (grown in a pot and never allowed to set seed, otherwise you'll have a garden full of nettles in no time:) ).
