Red Thread

    Any tips for treating Red Thread on a 6 month old turfed lawn. Did read about a Smiths Feed but wondered if any of you had actually tried anything that you know works. Thanks

    Yep, any fertiliser with Nitrogen in will fix it - it's a fungal disease, but the primary cause is low N content in the soil, so just about any fertiliser will work.

    Don't be tempted to go for a high N content feed though, as we're coming into the autumn - a balanced Autumn feed ought to do the trick [​IMG]

    Thanks Will, will hopefully get onto that at the weekend, I will add it to my big list of garden jobs.
