    Its a euonymus but not our native one.

      We think it could be euonymus verrucosa Pete ...... a swallow probably dropped it :snorky:

      Its very similar to the one often sold as a variegated shrub or sometimes even a house plant.

      Here`s another photo....wot I took :wub2:. The leaf reminds me of Arbutus, and the seed pod of Euonymus Europaeus

        Our native euonymus, the spindle tree is deciduous, but the seed pods give it away.

          But the leaves look much glossier than the E. verrucosa images on google. Looks a good plant!

          So .... this is evergreen, with spindle berries :scratch: .... I`m losing the will to live now :thud:....:help:

            Euonymus japonicus, the variegated plant is common, but it reverts quite often.
