    Hi Wylie

looks great I had a look at both parents, water drops is special and can understand why the cross was made with the eye pattern in both , I was surprised the seedling is so dark in colour though

Simbad, they only last a day - after they have enlivened your presence on the allotment can't you take them home to eat? They won't be there the next day anyway.

    Thanks a bundle Wylie you're so kind.:catapult:

Kwanso is a beauty isn't it Pam, bit rampant though, not one for my daylily bed, mines in a bed where it has lots of room as it sends stray fans off all over the place, very vigorous :hate-shocked: , I found mine dumped in a nearby field a huge clump of it, had to rescue it didn't I lol, now I know why it was there !!!!! :)

I have a couple more new ones open; the first is from a pack of bonus seeds:
              Candy Gram x J.T. Davis.JPG
This is Candy Gram x J.T. Davis, a 4" TET, evergreen, orange red with yellow mid ribs, and ruffling on the edges. Suitable for eating.
The other one is Better Lucky Than Good x Hippie Crash Pad:

This is a TET, 5" evergreen that is an elogated triangular form, soft orange with red eye.

I am really enjoying growing my daylilies from seed and seeing all the variations. I know I could get some really spectacular ones if it would just warm up a little more. I tried planting yesterday, but then it started raining - its too wet today, so maybe tomorrow.

The closest I can come to it is (Beautiful Edgings x Feminine Fingers) x Carpathian Cavalier [W/D-25].

I probably used a shorthand name on it (it gets too repetative with some these proper names). I am adding everything I kept to a daylily program I got and listing them with a tracking number [ex: Amethyst Reflections x Unk is now 2012T001 to 2012T012 since there are 12 seedlings from the cross]. If you register anything, it needs a number, so I give them one if they are kept for a 2nd year.
