Lawn fungus

    Normally my lawn gets covered in dandelions when its not mown every few days but lately its just covered in fungus :biggrin: Must be all this rain they think its autumn!
    Does anyone else have this?

    I weeded a garden yesterday (1st time I worked there)

    I noted that there was a large fairy ring (a perfectly formed semicircle approx 3 meters in diameter), with loads of mushrooms growing on the outer edge of the ring which is dark green

    have never seen this before, and have only read about it

    rest of the lawn looks ok though ... never made mention to the client, as I was not 100% certain

    I'd best go & check the Fairy Ring Champignon field then. don't usually bother till August.

      Fascinating thing about those fairy rings is if you know the species of the mushroom you can work out their age by the diameter of the ring:)
