Can anybody tell me what phlox this is. It's so gorgeous I want to get more. It's about 3ft plus tall and the blooms are huge, at least twice the size of my 20190714_083725.jpg clenched fist. Oh and it's scent is devine!.

Could it be the Purple Eye Flame variety?

Sounds daft but I think the first one is too pink and the second one too purple. Its more of a lilac colour. Time for some research me thinks. Hope I can find it. I have just ordered some deep purple ones too. I think they must just like my soil as its the plant that's doing best in my garden. I wish delphiniums did better and I wish they had a scent too! I lost all but one delphinium this winter and it wasn't even particularly cold.

Ok well Ive just learnt to do cartwheels as nothing this good EVER happens to me. In fact I have my own personal little rain cloud that follows me around. Broke my sulk and popped to the local GC and guess what I found???? And at £2.69 each and already a foot tall!!! Some things are just meant to be! Just waiting for the thunderbolt that shall surely follow...... 20190714_114346.jpg
