Can anyone shed light on what is meant by a low stem fruit tree?

The Range has some in stock but I can't find any info on them like how big do they grow.
    TIA

I think you will find it refers to bush shaped trees and also cordon grown fruit trees. Basically. The fuits can be produced on low btanches, rather than as on what we may call the normal apple or pear tree, where you have a main stem, trunk, and fruits are above arms reach and more.

        Thanks Mike.
I've bought a Low Stem Walnut tree the label says it's height will be between 125 and 150cm.
I'm going to grow it in a 40cm pot at the moment.

They also had apple, plum, pear and chestnut trees all low stem.
