    Hi All,

We got a free packet of the above Aster seeds and the pictures show a quiet nice display which they say lasts from July to October which we thought might be a change in a little border we often have very good display of dwarf Dahlias.

Do they really give such a vibrant and plentiful display that would match our little Dahlias or is the description and picture a little optimistic ?

The description wouldn't say they get leggy if not regularly dead headed and harbour slugs would it?
There is always room for a little bit of literary licence when it comes to advertising, though they do look nice

Blimey, I used to grow this strain every year in the late 70s early 80s.
Yes I think the picture is pretty much how I remember them, but they do come late, so not much flower in July if I remember correctly but then right on until the first frost.

          Thanks @pete,

Think we will grow some of these Asters and see what they are like, but still keep our dwarf Dahlias in that bed this year, they seem hard to beat. :)
