Growing from seed without a greenhouse

Hi

I recently bought the following seeds online:

Geranium pratense, 'Purple Haze'
Geranium macrorrhizum
Hesperis matronalis
Petunia pendula

I've never grown anything from seed before. Am I likely to be able to do this without a greenhouse?

I have seed trays and a cheap plastic propagator from Wilkos. I was planning to leave them indoors at room temperature on a large window seat that gets plenty of natural light.

Yes your conditions sound suitable.
It would be better if you could treat yourself to a cheap electric propagator, even a very basic one to provide a little bottom heat....it’s all I use. I have several varieties that have germinated now and growing well
Just be aware of different requirements though...some seeds need light to germinate; others need to be covered...so read up before sowing
