Hi All. Just wondering if some one can offer some help on how to prune these ( Photos) Rose bushes that have got out of control. Not sure if i prune them really low that they will survive ?
Thank you. rose (1).JPG rose (2).JPG

Yes, Wildcat, they would survive fine if you cut the rose down to, say, a third of it's size leaving some of the buds still on the stems to make next years growth. Perhaps a little sprinkling of Blood, Fish and Bonemeal, around the roots would give a help towards giving you more flowers next year along with, if you can remember it, a monthly feed of Tomato Feed. @wiseowl Perhaps our acknowledged Rose Expert could give you further good advice.

Thank you for the reply ARMANDII. When you say cut them down to a third, i am not sure if there re any buds that low. The Blood, Fish and Bonemeal sounds like a great idea and of course will help with other roses i have in the garden.
