    Hi People

I have a problem that seems to be out of control.

    Nettles!!

I have tried several weedkillers, but they just keep coming back. They are now completely surrounding my bushes, so that I am afraid to use anymore weedkiller. The only option I can see is to pull all my plants up and deal with the nettles then. But this would be too much work for me. The nettles are now starting to encroach onto my lawn.

    HELP!!

    John

Do you know where they are coming from? I also have nettles and dealing with them at the border seems to work to keep them in check. They are not that difficult to dig out in my experience - but also when close to plants I find that by reducing the height and then spraying with roundup using a bottomless lemonade bottle works if repeated a couple of times. They also make great liquid fertiliser if soaked in water for a time.

    Hi Fran
    Thanks for your reply.

I do not know where they are coming from because they seem to be all around. I will try your method and let you know.
    Many thanks
    John
