    Hay'all!

The lawn's part which most of the day is cast a shadow of the tall fence is littered with leafy competitors:

I believe there's nothing else but to get down on mah knees and pick them one-by-one with a weeder (no biggie: will take the best part of the afternoon -- garden is tiny:)

Then I should go to shops and buy some shade-loving grass to sow over what's left.

Or are there any alternative tips or tricks to the above's master plan?:)

A' weedy need your help here :thud:

High potassium (K) autumn lawn feeds are particularly beneficial to grass growing in shade. You can also feed lawns in early spring about one month before trees begin to leaf. Use half the rate of spring/summer lawn feed applied to turf in full sun. Moss control. Moss tends to out-compete turf grasses in cool, moist, shady situations

Dig over remove weeds as you go, plant shade loving ground cover plants and job done.
