    Lockdown has created great opportunities for remote walks and testing our childhood knowledge of wildflowers. However this one has stumped us and its unusual structure makes it difficult to identify through usual searches. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

    Hi @mrjackal , it's Reseda, commonly called Mignonette. Some of them have a sweet scent.

      Many thanks. It was on our short list but couldn't find photo with "knobbly" stem like this. However now found Reseda Lutea, Wild Reseda, which has stem like ours. Thanks again
