£1 land roses

    My cheapo roses (Mostly aldi, £1.79) are doing well now they are in their second year. They have all grown from a light prune into a nice shape and all have lots of buds.

      Thank your for the information CB, I will pop and have a look in Aldi at some point, I want a few more climbing ones.

      Looking at the leaves on wiseowls and mine its looking good to be what it says it is :).

      Very glad to see these post re the £ Rose's or any of the ones I have seen in there. I nearly gave in today but as they all looked dead I never bothered. I wonder why they keep them on sale when they are like this ?

      My neighbour bought 1, a few years ago, came home triumphant, "I bought a Rose can you pot it for me" had a cursory look pronounced life extinct, she went back to shop and got her £1 back. :loll:
