My Acer

I am a little worried ,the leaves on my Acer appear to be very spindley and small...is this normal as the leaves have only just started coming out..it is in a large pot and is about 7 years old ..am I being to impatient..many thanks

 

Be patient, just like you did, they will come out small and then grow.

One of mine looks a bit backwards in coming forwards, but it does every year.
Every spring I am convinced I have done something fatal, ( and I usually have done something questionable like moved it or something) and yet every year it comes back fine as if mocking my lack of faith.
