    GC members who have a long acquaintance with the forum may recall the wonderful Melanie Wilson (aka Melinda on GC). She has just won a fantastic silver in the women's eight. Well done Mel. I imagine your vegetable patch may be a little neglected by now.

        Sadly I'm not in touch with her, Shiney, but the name rang a bell when it came up on tv last night. I know she was disappointed to come sixth at the London games, so this is a great end to her rowing career.
