I'll be happy to give them a try and review them, I'm a professional gardener, so I frequently use secateurs at work as well as at home.

Yes please if not too late. I have a huge garden of about 2 acres and therefore use all sorts of gardening tools extensively. I would certainly be able to give a review on their ability to withstand hard work:). I am connected to the Scottish Open Garden scheme and if your product is good I'd be able to give a recommendation to lots of serious gardeners. By chance you aren't launching a good strong pair of anvil loppers are you? I broke a very good pair (my fault) and then bought another type which broke (rubbish product I discovered) the 1st time I used them. If you aren't I will go ahead and buy the strongest Wolf-Garten Anvil loppers.

I'm afraid not - these are bypass - we'll follow up with some anvil secateurs later, but it won't be until next year I'm afraid...

Thanks for the info @Neil King but it's not anvil secateurs I need to buy it's anvil loppers, something like these[IMG]. I use both anvil and bypass secateurs depending on what needs pruning. Loppers are for pruning branches much bigger/tougher than secateurs are designed to deal with.
