                  I am not so much against Trump now - first of all he made me win a few bucks on the betting :blue thumb: :Wino:- but, a bit like Berlusconi, he will be a cheerful and entertaining public figure, which will bring a little distraction from issues such as terrorism.
                  He will make the Country more wealthy, and I doubt very much that his extremist views about different races will substantiate in any too drastic measure. It is in the interest of any politician to act on everybody's interest.

                    Trump is in many ways an idiot. But in some ways he is anything but.

                    If Clinton had won, we'd all be at war within a few months. At least Trump realises that you can't make peace by waging war on any country you fancy imposing regime change on.

                    The main opposition to Trump seems to be his blatant, open, nastiness. So he shows a side of himself that other politicians at least attempt to conceal.

                    What I find bizarre though is that many of his fans seem to hate Obama. They seem to blame Obama for everything, including things like the war in Iraq, started by his predecessor George 'Neanderthal' Bush.

                      Trump has an executive mind set, knowing that, he will set up shop, hiring folks greatly qualified to take on jobs. there ar 4,000. jobs he has to hire for. (not he, but someone he assigns) He has already given the VP duties that other VPs do not usually take on. So far he has already made "friends" with two countries that Obama had strained relations with. I am looking forward to his administration more than I ever have for any other President.

                          'Making friends' can have many connotations. :snork:

                          I remember :heehee: that in 1634 we made friends with the Mughal Emperor of India (through the East India Company). A century later we 'made more friends' by taking over Goa and then the rest of the country (well, it was in their best interest - wasn't it? :scratch: :whistle:) and brought them into the Empire. :noidea:
