    Aloha everyone,

Our outside temperature is the same as Woo's but I guess our inside temperature will be higher as we don't have thick feathers to keep ourselves warm. :)

The sun is shining and I shall go out and fill up the bird feeders when the sun has taken the frost off the grass.

The propagator in the greenhouse hasn't been working for quite a while and the plants in it are not too happy. We think it may be keeping it just a fraction warm but are not sure. One of Mrs Shiney's patients, a retired electrical engineer, is coming round this morning to look at it. I hope he can diagnose the problem.

@moyra that doesn't sound too good . Have you been able to keep anything down? Have you tried some nourishing soups? If you're able to keep something like soup down I'd be happy to make some for you and bring it round. :dbgrtmb: you're very welcome to some nice chicken casserole that I made last night.

@Zigs I hope you're able to produce enough electricity to keep you warm in this weather.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

      Morning early people :)

Sorry to hear that @moyra  Hope you feel better soon :fingers crossed:

Frosty here too, but the sun is shining

Warm enough in here @shiney :) Got a gas heater if needed. Getting 0.6 amps already, be better when the frost melts off the panels.

Have a good day everyone and don't lick any windows :yikes:

        Good afternoon everyone,

I've been rather busy the last few weeks :phew: unfortunately I've not had time to do anything in the garden, there's leaves everywhere :thud:, I'm hoping that I might get out in the garden on Sunday even if I can only manage an hour it would make a difference .

Kev doesn't want to go away for Christmas this year, I don't really know why! He could really do with having a rest & I know I could too.

I had dinner out with my great aunt & uncle on Sunday, it was lovely to catch up with them.

My brother had his heart op yesterday, he's home, but a bit sore!

I had to say goodbye to Daisy-Do last week, she went down hill rather quick, I did all I could for her :cry3:.

I've started getting organised for Christmas, I have my family coming on Christmas Eve...my niece will be full of herself I'm sure! :snorky: Apparently she's very excited & has already written her Christmas list & given a copy to everyone! :heehee:

I think that's all my news.

I will catch up again when I get a minute:)

        Take care everyone :grphg: xx

          Aloha everyone,

@moyra I hope you're feeling a bit better this morning :grphg:. Try and get someone else to walk Amber as it's very cold and icy today.

@Beckie76 Good to see you back on here and pleased to hear everything is going well.

Sorry about Daisy-Do but she had a good home with you.
          How's Kev's arm/shoulder? I hope it's completely healed now.
I'm sure that you will enjoy your Christmas without going away. :dbgrtmb: If you're down this way over the holiday period just let us know and with a bit of luck we can arrange lunch or dinner for you. :)

I had a bridge match last night in the northern edges of London (a good and friendly match but didn't win :noidea:) and stopped off at a Jewish Deli on the way home. They now only open until midnight so we were a bit pushed to get there on time (they used to be open 24 hours a day). Their breads and pastries are fantastic and they have an enormous range of home made deli stuff.

There were four of us in my car and we stocked up on lots of things :blue thumb: and had orders to get for other friends. Their bagels and rye bread are the best in London (now have a freezer full :heehee:). Most of the orders from friends were for their Danish pastries which are out of this world, but fairly expensive. I didn't get any of those for us as they are too naughty.

When I got home around 1 a.m. I struggled indoors with lots of bags and then had to get the breads laid out on racks in the kitchen to let them cool down before freezing them.

It was -5C out there and very frosty but the clear sky gave a fantastic display of stars. So I was forced :snorky: to sit out there with a hot bagel filled with smoked salmon and home made cream cheese, and a hot mug of tea and watch the stars. Sarafi suddenly appeared on the bench beside me so I shared a bit of smoked salmon with him. Who's a spoiled cat?

By 2 a.m. the breads had cooled sufficiently for me to package them and put them in the freezer in the summerhouse. :dbgrtmb:

Keep well, stay warm and have a great day

          Aloha!

Good morning everyone and thank you for all your well wishes. Shiney Chicken soup was one of the first things I tried. Might try some shredded wheat this morning and see if I can keep that down. I'll walk Amber first though. Get that job done with and then I can see what I can eat.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

                  Good morning fellow WW'ers

Hard ground frost first thing this morning but at least the sun is shining now.
That doesn't sound good at all; have you made an appointment with the GP? :grphg:

Crikey, they sent him home quick! Get well wishes winging their way to him.

Oh Beckie :grphg: so, so sorry to hear that. She gave you some wonderful memories and she enjoyed a wonderful loving home.

Should have kept them on the bench next to you while you watched the stars ... they could have cooled *and* frozen in one hit! :heehee:

Miles of smiles and double dose of healing vibes winging their way to those in need of them xxMxx

Had good news this week, daughter and me patched up our differences, so nI
saw my grandson for the first time in 4 years. I was so happy.:Wino:

Throwing caution to the wind, had a tattoo done last week at the ages of 60. Tigger
on my shoulder. :wow: Bucket list No.1.....what next

Ah well, that is me done for now.
