        Good morning fellow WW'ers

Still mild but the sun is quite weak this morning and obviously hiding for the most part.

Found a lovely surprise in the post box this morning which really lifted my spirits and has put the biggest smile on my face (now everyone who sees me is going to wonder what I've been up to! :heehee: ).

Busy day ahead so I need to crack on ...

@moyra - maybe you need to give the car a good run out?
@liliana - how wonderful for :grphg:. Seasons greetings and all that goes with it being sent to you.
@Zigs - do remember it is booze *shopping* and not booze *sampling* :heehee:
@shiney - gosh you must be fair partied out!!!! :thud:
@Trunky - hope you and Mrs T are over the worst of your snuffles so you can now relax and enjoy the Season of Goodwill
@wiseowl - hope that turkey is defrosting nicely for you; it has a lot of work to do at your house this year, so it had better be behaving itself :nonofinger: :heehee:

Smiles and vibes for all xxMxx

It's called Wet and Forget but can't attest to its efficacy for some months yet.

Good morning everyone, Very dark this morning. That wind yesterday nearly took down our temporary fencing. Steve had to go out with more rope to tie it up with as all the plastic ties that had been holding it gave way. We also think some of the concrete bollards that the steel mesh sits in have been secreted away. Couldn't get hold of the housing association all on holiday, couldn't get hold of the landlady expect she has gone away too. Ok for some.
Have a good day all stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

                    Aloha everyone,

@moyra Sorry to hear about your fence. We didn't get any high wind  but you're just a bit closer to the coast than us.

The last of the bridge club parties went well last night. :blue thumb: Now we are doing nothing until the 27th :snooze:. I don't think I shall help out at any of the charities, unless they call in an emergency, as I don't want to come in contact with any flu type bugs.

Gardening, cooking, eating, going for walks, reading and tidying up will be the programme for the next few days. After Christmas we shall be taking Barry to the sales to look for a new sofa. It gets a lot of wear and tear because he, unfortunately, has to spend so much time stretched out on it. I haven't told him, but we shall also take him out for lunch. That's something he can't do on his own.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

Still need to take the meat out of the freezer  but I'll do that when I take my mug downstairs.

Sorry to hear about your fencing @moyra I'm surprised the housing association doesn't have an emergency number people can call.

Evening all. Hope everyone is well.

Been keeping myself occupied today; been for a haircut, washed the car, did a few odd jobs in the garden and cooked tea for me and Mrs T. Now settling down for a quiet evening with a pint of Adnams Broadside and some slow TV. For anyone in need of something relaxing and tranquil this evening I can thoroughly recommend this: Sleigh Ride

We're both fine now thanks @"M", hope you and yours are all well.

Tomorrow should be interesting, we're all round at oldest daughter's for the day. It's the first time she's done Christmas at home and she's going right in at the deep end - there will be 11 people and three dogs in total. It's quite a cosy little cottage they have too so will be a bit of a squeeze.

Mrs T will be on hand to help and 'advise' her daughter if the cooking doesn't go according to plan. Throw in three dogs, one or two people who like a drink or two and a good sprinkling of in-laws and what could possibly go wrong? :snork:

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Got a sore toe this morning. It's an early Christmas present from one of the cats.

Sitting in bed first thing enjoying a cup of tea, I didn't realise my foot was poking out from under the duvet - that is until the cat pounced on it and stuck its claw into one of my little toes. :yikes:

Hope you all have an enjoyable day, Merry Christmas to one and all.

                            :merry christmas:

                                Aloha everyone,

I've been watching out for Santa since 2 a.m. but I don't think he's been here. I did see something fly by about 4.30 but wasn't sure whether it was Santa or one of Woo's friends.

@Trunky I hope your toe gets better quickly. I suppose that it's better than if the 'cat got your tongue' :heehee:

I'm not feeling brilliant today and am a bit chesty. Mrs Shiney has given me a potion but I'm not sure which one to take. Now, is it the chalice from the palace, or the vessel with the pestle or the flagon with the dragon?

Keep well and have a great day
