Rummaging in the loft today I found this small book. Last edition was 1952.
So to keep you all on track for May I have imaged the `to do` section for May :-)

Must inject some worms with Strychnine to sort out those pesky Moles, kill the Dandelions that have become a big problem with some Arsenic and protect the rest of my crops with lashings of DDT and heavy metal based compounds.

Oh those were the days! Crops were supposed to taste so much better then, I wonder why?

When I cleared my late Step Mums house I found this Amateur Gardening 1915 made up of weekly magazines.

Aww love all of that. Really into my history and great to see old books from the time. Would love to get my hands on some ww2 era gardening books as my grandma always tells me stories of working with her dad on the allotment when he was back from sea.

I recall buying an old Percy Thrower book at a car boot, the advise for pretty much every disease, fungus was to use DDT!
