Ha ha Wiseowl. How about selling it on ebay?

The first of the stinky flowers has opened - always a "mixed" blessing! :heehee:

          Dracunculus Vulgaris.
Common names include dragon arum/lily and dragon's tongue.

          CIMG0015 (768x1024).jpg

Not the best angle/light but it has flowered with its back to me :shakehead:; nor is it the largest spathe - that delight is yet to come  :runforhills:

The first showings from Verbena Bonariensis which has made itself at home in a crack in the patio.

            CIMG0086 (768x1024).jpg

Nearby is the last flower on the Rosemary

            CIMG0051 (768x1024).jpg

Giving a repeat performance is this clematis which first flowered early Spring. Fairly sure it is Clematis alpina Francis Rivis

            CIMG0073 (768x1024).jpg

Amelanchier berries - they won't be here long, the blackbirds can strip it bear in just a day or two!

            CIMG0106 (1024x768).jpg

The first cornflower of the year

            CIMG0111 (768x1024).jpg

Phlomis fruticosa - Jerusalem Sage. The flowers are beautiful but I also like it at the pre-flowering "pom-pom" stage.

            CIMG0087 (768x1024).jpg

Alchemilla mollis - Lady's Mantle - perfect in the shadier part of my garden.
