    Each year our village church holds a Flower Festival. People from the village and surrounding area take part.. They have a theme each year and this was Village Trades Past and Present.. There were some really beautiful arrangements this year. Some people excelled and I would like to share them with you hope you enjoy them too.

    Clay Pipe Maker Obediah Ash. 1st Mayor of the village in the 1700s.. His cottage stood where our gardens are now and our cottages are built with some of the stone and Timbers from his cottage.

            @Victoria and @CanadianLori I was really bowled over by the arrangements this year..Really enjoyable see and to be there.. some old faces as well.. Lovely..
            I have taken part in the early years, but not now, great fun though..

            Lori the Milener ones are fabulous aren't they, you could wear a couple of them no problem I am sure..

                    Hat's off to *all* of the entrants - creativity at its very best! I'll venture to say they are a very competitive bunch :heehee:

                    The thought, production and artistry is amazing - as is the humour too :heehee: - and we have been blessed by your wonderful photographs of many of the entries.
