    Hi Folks,

Even Mrs Shiney doesn't know what this is! :rolleyespink: It's in a smallish pot in our car port and has been there for some years without flowering (It's amongst the hundred or two that she keeps as stock plants).

I've only taken the shots without taking the pot out from amongst the others. The flower is on a very long flimsy stalk and has drooped over. So the part that is at the bottom of the picture is the top of the flower - and vice versa. :noidea: I would guess that the flower is 4"-5" long.

The leaves coming in from bottom left may be another plant. (Had to rush this photo but can do better if necessary.) The leaf stems all radiate out from a point - just like ferns do. Let me know if you need better photos. :dbgrtmb:

Some more shots of it. I've tried to see whether it has two different plants in the pot but the stems seem rather delicate and I didn't want to start pulling them around.

@Silver surfer some of the leaves are opposite each other on the stem and some are not. Most are not or very close but a few are directly opposite.

It looks like some sort of Philadelphus @shiney but the leaves are not right for that type of plant and Philadelphus are in flower at the moment. Are the flowers highly scented at all?
