I was flicking through my old photos looking for suitable pics to post on the forum. I thought it would be interesting to see what the oldest photos our members have of themselves.

This was taken Sept 1971. I would have been about 6 weeks old. I had more hair then than I have now.

Strictly speaking, this was my first photo but as you can't see me, it doesn't count.

ps. These photos are an unusual shape because I cropped them to fit into a slideshow presentation I did for my mum's 80th birthday.

Hi. I've just scrolled through the site and found similar threads have been done before. My apologies.

Great photo's! They must bring back memories (even if you were a little young to remember them being taken, you should still remember when your Mum and Dad looked like that) Cute dog too!

Sadly, my dad passed away many years ago. He would have turned 85 in June. The dog was called Spangle.

@Loki I must confess that I sought of cheated. I never had children. My wife had three girls (the first when she was 18). Between them to date they have produced 5 more girls. I might not be their blood but I'm all they've ever known.

Family is family :) my stepdad is the one who bought me up. I'm sure your girls feel the same about you as I do ' my dad ' :)
Anyway the easy part is producing them, it's the 'bringing them up' that takes all the effort :phew:

@Loki I have no doubt. Thankfully that's not my problem. I just have to take them to school every now and then and feed them occasionally. The best thing about grandchildren is that you can always give them back. Oh the joy! :hapydancsmil:
