        When displaying them try and get them centred on the plate and all facing the same way (forward). It can make a difference as some judges mark for display. :dbgrtmb:

          @Zigs I'm still planning on coming, would you like to try some of my bottled Blackberry juice for making some no mess, quick maturing Blackberry wine?

          I've got one over 2 feet long that needs straightening, but I'd have to take at least one of the shelves and a load of food out our fridge to fit it in, and I don't think Mrs Scrungee would be happy about that.

              That's nothing, I'll post a pic of something much bigger, redder, and much more knobbly and scabby than that tomorrow, it's getting a bit late to pull it out to take a pic of it now.

              Putting toms in the fridge when they're ready will suspend ripening, enabling more to come on and join them in a uniform display.

              Soften the calyxes with water and coax them into perfect positions.

                        Just checked with Gorslands and they reckon there should be pitches available, should be departing at midnight tomorrow and arriving at West Bex approx 4 am..
