@pete - I don't have one, but have seen one in action, and the Sony unit does not disappoint. Whilst things have moved on since I was a dealer, I am firmly of the belief that the one thing that Sony has retained is their design integrity, and they habitually over-engineer the majority of their stuff (in comparison to other brands); Nothing wrong with JBL, Bose, Panasonic, Samsung or even LG at a push.

Consider the likes of the JBL Charge+ or Cambridge G5 or Mission Aero - - all very respectable brands that really know their speakers from their onions. :dbgrtmb:

One tip with Sony gear @pete - run it in! They tend to use very high quality capacitors, which have the absolute best in life expectancy; the slight downside is that they tend to need a good few days (solid) of use before they 'bed in' :dbgrtmb:

Well I went out a done it.
                  I bought the Sony SRS-XB20

Gotta say I'm impressed with the sound, but then I am a bit deaf.
Sounds good and clear to me though and volume pretty impressive for such a small thing.

Having a few connection problems at the moment though.
My laptop seemed to forget it when I turned it off, and had to go through the whole process of reconnection when I turned it it.

                  Hope to get that sorted.

My lap top also forgets my printer.

I must have the most absent minded lap top that was ever made.

Add to that my internet connection keeps going up the chute and I'm doing well.

Sounds like you have some driver issues there @pete - what version of Windows are you using?

Sony stuff generally always sounds impressive for its size and price. :blue thumb:

Hmmmm.... Windows isn't the best when it comes to Bluetooth, but that would suggest that it has installed OK.

Stick with it a bit, and if it doesn't settle after a restart, we can dig a bit further.

these are a bit childish perhaps for your needs, Pete, but as for functionality they work great (the water inside moves with the music) BoomBeatz Bluetooth Water Speakers
