4 or 5 degrees here. The odd burst of sun raises the temp slightly.
If it does snow.....and it will be a real novelty here if it does.....I am booked to build a snowman and push a sledge across the towans! I guess I'll know how fit I am then!
If it snows I will enjoy it :)
However, take care everyone and keep warm:)

Just made a huge batch of Beef Stew in case we get snowed in, I might bake some crusty bread to go with it.

It snowed for about 20mins this around 1ish. That’s a blizzard for us. The temperature has been hovering around 3*C today. That’s the coldest it’s been for a while.

              G.

I’ve made a beef stew for tea also :dbgrtmb:.

EA270AFD-D0AD-4A57-802B-994673C69618.jpeg @john558 I cooked us a nice beef Stew with dumplings the old fashioned way for Saturday and yesterday in my slow cooker and the onions, spuds, peas, carrots and parsnips were all homegrown on our allotment. The only shop bought stuff were the stewing steak, mushrooms, bisto gravy granules plus the suet and SR flour for the dumplings. It was most delicious

My stew may well come in useful, we've just had heavy snow!

I like snow but have a 50 mile 'round trip to drive tomorrow, okay for me who's used to driving in snow, it's those that are not who are the problem/danger.

Today: central london had flurries of snow and sunshine on and off, so it all melted. Although a few heavy snowy showers, and hovering between -1 and 2 as the day went on.

Back home, there has been a few snow showers during the day, some has settled on pavements, roofs, shed tops and grass but has not melted. More flurries to come...

It’s not the prettiest plate of food I’ve ever produced. It tasted alright though.
