A few days work sees us with two new flower beds and the garden looking a lot more complete with the sleepers wrapping around the end of the garden, plus the added benefit of hiding a good 30 feet of the concrete base for the fence.

In the space of a month or so, what was the dumping ground for various pots and the garden furniture has a greenhouse and flower bed...and the garden furniture.

Now to decide what is going in them!

@martin-f Having removed your tree stump, you will appreciate how much effort it took to move this little bit of wood to help make my stumpery :ouch1: DSC00022.JPG

It has a natural 'pool' in the centre which makes a good bird bath, and is now starting to look a bit more established after a year.... (must get the camera out again)

Gardening wise I only ended up putting some more grit around my hostas and putting the garden waste bin out for collection today!! Weather's been miserable again. Forecast nice for the week ahead though.

Picked some cracking rhubarb from the lotty this evening and just made three jars of rhubarb and ginger jam....much better than the one I made last week. Also made a loaf of bread in my bread maker so might have a slice of bread and jam for supper :snorky:

We’ve been out watching everything at least 8 times today! Love it!!

Fed the lawn this morning before it started to rain. Had a good look around the plants in pots around the back of the shed, most are actively growing now and could do with planting soon, Anemone wild swan growing as well i was sure I had lost it.

Took quite a lot of plant from the house to the GH, fuchsia - pelargoriums etc. Potted on more seedling which just reminded me now I had left some in a tray of water after transplanting, Tripped over some pots while out which is no surprise because they seem to be everywhere and growing somehow . Quick slug patrol while I was out around the crown imperial fertilise, the slug wool pellets aren't repelling them enough so hand picked them off, found a lily beetle while inspecting .

After yesterday's glorious weather today I am back in two fleeces and a hat :gaah:. Going to stay this way for next couple of days with 60 mph winds predicted on Tues.

Today's gardening contribution consisted of planting a pot of Mint and moving some small pots of flowers to a more sheltered place in expectation of coming weather. After that I decided I really couldn't be bothered and went to the Beach.
