I've been trying to post on the birthday thread where I like to change font colour. It's not playing ball for some reason and whatever colour I choose it shows as black. Would somebody in admin be kind enough to have a tinker for me please. :)

It does look like it @Sheal - it could be a Windows update, as I had one at work today (Windows 7), so if that is the case the best bet is to restart the computer.

I've changed the colour for you

My updates are up to date. :) I did have a huge feature update on Windows 10 at the weekend that took 4 1/2 hours, but my computer has been fine until this evening.

I've also been logged out a couple of times and can't copy and paste an old post to a new thread. I was also losing my cursor on another forum earlier.

Thanks for sorting the post for me. I'll shut down and restart now to see if it makes a difference.

There's no difference with the restart FC and I still can't copy and paste so I'll see what tomorrow brings. It could be my internet reception here as it has fits and starts from time to time.:)

There was no need to go to all that trouble just for me, it means the same in plain black, it's much appreciated that you all go to so much trouble :dbgrtmb:

It was no trouble at all @Jiffy and why shouldn't we make a nice gesture for you on your birthday? :)

I usually like to colour co-ordinate the wording to the picture but brown in this case was a bit dull so I opted for blue.

Oh, and my computer is behaving itself this evening....gremlins yesterday I think. Sorry to trouble you @Fat Controller.

I still have this problem with the font colour and copying and pasting, the latter both within GC and from the internet but it's the same on another forum too. I'm now wondering about that big update I mentioned back on post #9, could Microsoft have messed things up again?

                            Any ideas welcome please. :)

Highly doubtful that it is a Microsoft update - I would be more inclined to lean toward the usual suspects (Java or Flash being the main two) or it could be an update that has been done on your browser. Are you a Chrome user?
