Do you have any evidence of how many people have changed their minds?

I don't have any evidence no but you only have to look at parliament to see who has and hasn't changed their minds.

That's politicians, that's not us. Not the same thing. There's been lots of polls with lots of different results, depending on who did the poll. The only way to actually find out if the Great British Public have changed their minds is to hold another referendum. Anything else is just unfounded speculation.

" No-one alive has lived through two world wars "................

Please @LauraRoslin keep to facts. There are over 40,000 people aluve now who were alive during WWI , indeed , the oldest person in the UK is 112 ( 113 this year ) and so was born in 1906 , well before WWI even started.

Can we have the evidence for those figures, please?

I just checked on Wiki. There are presently 6 people alive in the UK who were born before 1914. List of British supercentenarians - Wikipedia

So don't know where the figure of 40,000 has come from. Unless you meant WW2.

I will go back and change my post to all but 6 if it helps.

Although, I think arguing over the numbers is missing the point really.

You are using the wrong range of dates.

You need to include those born on the last day of WW1, and who were still surviving on the the first day of WW2.

They 'lived through both World Wars'. Living through both World Wars in their entireity is something different.

P.S. There is a difference between 'through' and ' throughout'.

Someone born on the last day of WW1 didn't live through it, did they? And like I said, this is beside the point I was making.

But well done on the pedantry.

Part of the dealing with the DUP is an offer of cash... so more bribery to get this deal through. It sort of suggests that it can’t get through on its own merits and should be aborted does it not?

Unless the news has altered since earlier it seems my local MP Mr David Davis has changed his mind again:doh:Starting as a staunch Brexiteer, last week voting for the Prime Ministers Deal and now said to be voting against it next time around:rolleyespink:
I wish him luck at the next election because the folks round here aren't going to take kindly to his shenanigans.

John Bercow has amused me enormously :)

We’re now left with what, a prolonged extension? Pending eu approval... Which would, to me, mean a different negotiating team as the first several have been awful which can only result in a general election.

John may have just ended Teresa May!
