:blue thumb: Looks great! How about something that can tumble over the edge - trailing ivy leaf geraniums or nasturtiums maybe?

Very nice Woo, but I would have left the top on and perhaps varnished it. I agree with @Clare G about Ivy Leafed Geraniums or Mini Nasturtiums with something taller in the middle, ie, a Zonal Geranium.

Wedge the top open Woo. I have my wood logs )and old papers) in similar with the top wedged open, for effect. I like Snow in Summer but is it a bit invasive?

Aaah...snow in summer - I want something really invasive for a bare border by greenhouse.

I love Cerastium (thank you for telling me its posh name!)! Very fond memories of growing it on the various scraps of garden I was allowed to work, from an original cutting from our neighbour. I think I will have to treat myself to a plant, and a visit to a garden centre, when I’m next in the UK. (And I pass Pengethly on the way....!)

Cerastium ( around here known as " White Rock " ) is one of my favourite plants. All year round interest with beautiful foliage and lovely flowers.
I'd go with you on that @wiseowl . You could grow things through it for summer contrast. I grow a purple Salvia and a pink Fairy Rose through mine.

@Victoria , how can it be invasive in a confined space?

Will snow in summer grow in containers?

It depends on the size @Jack Sparrow . I've grown it on the edge of containers with a minimum of 12/18" and let it trail over the sides, also in hanging baskets and wall halfbaskets
