I'm ready for a weekly fix although I wasn't impressed with GW last year. I thought Beechgrove was the better gardening program

Beechgrove is for gardeners with soil on their hands and GW is aimed more at the lifestyle gardener. Imho.

yea there wouldnt be any point in both of them if they both did the same thing. I like them both for different things, and I skip the stuff I find boring on iplayer

Interesting that last year Monty was totally anti-plastic and this year hes advocating re-using plastic trays. It save me shouting at the tellybox every week about reuse.

:huh:I think Monty is a realist......why throw away old plastic trays. Use what we have to the utmost, the best form of recycling I think :)
He does change his mind from time to time about plants and planting though.....same as me:)

I'm with Rodders, I like both for different reasons. But I do feel that GW has too many extra presenters for different things, I'd be happy if Carol had her own show though. Her passion for the subject really shows.
