    Good morning @strongylodon my good friend all cracking shots,haven't you got any ordinary run of the mill birds you could put up .maybe a little out of focus,and completely wrong settings:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

    I was in the garden mowing the lawn and far up in the sky I saw this bird,I know it probably the worst image ever taken in the history of the camera,but has anyone any ideas.Thank you

      By the shape of the tail @wiseowl I would say a Kite, but not 100% sure :smile:

          Sorry @wiseowl I haven't looked in for a couple of days, it certainly looks like a Kite.
          Here is a run of the mill shot with wrong settings but it still came out OK.:smile:

                  Swallows and Martins have been arriving for the last two weeks but in very small numbers, Swifts should show up in the next week or so.

                    Little Ringed Plovers, Summer visitors from Africa. They will stop for a few days and then fly on to nest further up country.:smile:

                        I have seen these zipping across lakes but have never seen one up close. It is my plan to bring a hide and set up close to the nest box to try to get a better photo. Their range is Alaska, Canada to California, and northern parts of central and eastern US.
