YAWN YAWN WAKEY WAKEY PART 2....... 2019

Oh dear , sorry to hear you're unwell @Flumpy ...that's what hubs has as well . Takes ages to clear up! Have they got you on antibiotics and an inhaler too? He is now definitely on the mend but it's now over a fortnight. He actually mowed the lawns yesterday, was only going to do one but in the end did them all. But it took it out of him he was completely shattered afterwards.
Take care ,feet up and lots of fluids........

Hi Shiney, yes the doctor started me on a antibiotic called Doxycycline, they are doing there job but I just feel so lethargic.

Hubs was taken really poorly again this morning ,had to get the Dr. He was on Doxycycline last week but his c/ infection won't budge so he's on another one, his oxygen levels have improved slightly but his breathing is still not good so must continue with the Ventolin/ inhaler. He really has had a tough time now for the last fortnight.

Upsydaisy hope your hubby recovers very soon, he sounds worse than me, I’ve got to ring work soon to let them know how I am etc, I always feel so guilty for being off but I’m never poorly

 

No don't feel guilty @Flumpy....you can't help it, it's just one of those things. Chest infections can ( and often do ) take their time to completely clear. I had one about 7 years ago ...and that was a devil to shift. Take it easy and definitely don't rush back to work too soon. Hubs temperature got so high that he was talking deliriously last week..very scary to witness. Thankfully he hasn't got the worry of having to go back to work.....if he had I would do all I could to stop him, hide the car keys maybe .

Anyway would your work colleagues/ customers really want you coughing over them?........I think not, so you see no guilt to be had.:bigthumb:

 

Thanks upsydaisy I feel a lot less guilty now , I remember when I was about 7 I had tonsillitis and had a very high temperature and I was seeing this really massive face going back and fourth, it was so scary I was shouting too. Hope your hubby feels better soon

 

....and you too @Flumpy .If you get bored then I love nothing better than a good natter....who knows you and I could solve all the world's problems.
