I remember in past years we had a thread dedicated to showing off our roses. It has always been dear to my heart and @wiseowl Woo is our Rosarian. Please pardon me for grabbing the first piccie Woo but I looked out this morning and there this one was. It's a 20year + bush that embraces the garage wall - south facing and I hope, looking forward to a new lease of life. It only flowered right at the top where its blooms got entangled with the guttering . I asked our grounds person to cut it down quite hard last year - brutal almost. But it was fed and watered in Autumn, it's had a very mild Winter / Spring to embrace the adjustment and I'm looking forward to seeing blooms at waist level this year.
I do not know it's name but it changes colour as the bloom matures .
A long shot @wiseowl - any idea at this stage?
    Jenny

Good afternoon @Jenny namaste my friend its so difficult but I will have a look through my database for you,A petal count would be most helpful and the colour it is now and the colour it changes to,you say a bush Rose, and not a climber:smile:

ps.If I remember rightly how are your Graham Thomas and Lady Emma Hamilton Roses doing,I think it was about 2015 you posted these two wonderful Roses;)

Sadly, Graham Thomas didn't stay long Woo but Lady Hamilton is filling out nicely. There's a Graham Thomas 2 gardens up so I can get a " fix" there when I need too.
So looking forward to seeing all the other GC members' blooms here soon,
          Jenny

With a change of area and garden I've left all my lovely roses behind. Now living rurally and having to completely re-work the gardens here, I've decided to make a complete change in the type of roses. The young roses I've planted over the last year are all single flowered to fit in with what is mostly natures garden. Hopefully they will bloom this year and photo's will follow later.

The climber is showing at least 30 blooms already. @wiseowl thinks it's possibly " Dublin Bay". Exquisite Apple perfume

Hi @Jenny namaste and @wiseowl do you find Graham Thomas to be scented? I got one because everyone said it was scented, but mine seemed not to be.
