Ok, not a sport forum but how exciting have our soccer teams been this week? Made me proud and delighted to see Liverpool and Tottenham play so well to win.
Tonight we could see Arsenal and Chelsea contest the Europa Cup final too.
Great if you love your sport and British teams doing so well :):)

Not a football supporter but nice to see our multinational teams doing so well.
They should do, they cost a lot of money.

I share the view that our “English” teams are no longer full of homeground players but then none of the big European leagues have them either.
The history books will show a British team winning the prestigious European cup. Sadly not on bbc or itv these days or I would be rooting big time for our sides :)

Well the thing that bugs me is next year half of them will be playing for another team, anywhere else in the world, as long as the money is better.

Well I won't harp on just to say particularly in the 70's when the first division (now premier league) teams all seemed to have dribblers and hard men and characters, yes not athletes and yes some of the best liked a few beers but that was football, sadly today it's a commodity, champions league final ticket allocation just over 33,000 to liverpool & spurs in a stadium that has a capacity or over 67,000, says it all.

The best football matches ive seen for many many years. Normally my attention span lasts 12 minutes and im up and onto youtube instead but ive been glued to these games this week.
          Supporting Liverpool in the final.

Not really a Liverpool supporter, It's just that I would like Spurs to come second in Madrid.
Fantastic two games this week !
