We've had a lot of small bright yellow butterflies around the garden. They haven't stopped still enough for me when I got the camera out. :noidea:

Peacock outside the bird hide at a local reserve earlier a few weeks ago (got bored because there wasn't many birds), taken from over 2m away

There's loads of Orange Tips about at the moment, but not settling, same with the smaller amount of Brimstones, a few Small Tortoiseshells are about and one settled on the ground right in front of me as I turned my camera on, but Mrs Scrungee let our dog pull towards it :frown:

But quite a few Speckled Woods are now appearing, with the occasional one settling on the Bramble leaves beside a spinney about 5 mins walk from home

Walking down the same local path as yesterday saw about 30 Orange Tips, 20'ish Speckled Woods, 2 Large Whites, 1 Brimstone and 1 Red Admiral.

Once again, only the Speckled Woods were settling

A pair of scarlet tiger moths were flying around the house in Hereford yesterday, causing much excitement!
