Hello friendly gardeners. :yay:I planted these onions in November last year, initially under glass then later exposed to the elements. But as yet, 19th May, no sign of any onions. Can anyone tell me when they'll they be ready to harvest? :help:Thanks in advance.:ThankYou:

They look fine to me, just give them time. They should start ‘bulbing up’ shortly.

I sown onions in late november in a tub outside and in may i got nice large spring onions
As you sown them under glass they look good from pic give them a few weeks and they will bulb out also grow your onions to improve growth and control pests near Beets, Cabbage, Carrots, Celery, Chamomile, Cucumbers, Leeks, Lettuce, Pepper, Rosemary, Squash, Strawberries, or Tomato

Thank you Janet. I've grown them from sets in a planter so not much room for anything else I'm afraid. I had planted some leftovers next to a dormant rhubarb plant and that has been fantastic this year and just about to have a third harvest. :ccheers: cheers.

Lifted all of our overwintering onions last Thursday, could have some to grow mabe a little bit bigger, but wanted the bed for other stuff, now in the greenhouse drying off.

Those which had thrown up flower spikes have been kept separate to use first.
