Hi everyone, this is the flower of my neighbour's clematis that I took cuttings of last year, a big ask I know but does anyone know it's identity, and secondly she has this growing in the back garden and swears it wasn't there a couple of weeks ago.

@mazambo the bloom in your pic looks huge.! The only one I can think o f that comes vaguely near is Guernsey Cream with blooms about 6” but not sure it is that at all..

Your second is a bit of a thug in the garden, tell your neighbour to get it all out before it seeds it is a nightmare if it does. Wood avens as said by silver surfer geum urbanum

Thanks @Silver surfer, @Marley Farley I'll tell her to get rid of the wood avens asap. @Marley Farley yes the flower does get about 6"

@Freddy it really does look spectacular that's why I took some cuttings and thankfully they're doing well, the photo doesn't do it justice and the flowers are only just opening.

The yellow flowered plant in your second pair of photos is Geum, but the white flower is sweet woodruff, a useful ground cover for shady areas....

Thanks @Sian in Belgium sweet woodruff is what she planted (although she didn't know it was sweet woodruff) and the geum has completely swallowed it up, I've tried knocking on to tell her to get rid of the geum but no answer yet.

Ah, sorry, I didn’t know that the woodruff was intentional. I love it, and I was afraid it would be pulled up with the Geum....
