    Agree @Verdun, it's most delightful and my favourite season.:blue thumb:

    It's definitely the achy season too sadly with all the tasks needing to be done at this hectic time of year! I just keeps telling myself it will soon be time to sit back and fully enjoy my efforts .......I hope!:fingers crossed::)

                Well!!....Thoroughly enjoyed Rocketman. He certainly had to battle through many obstacles both before and after he found fame and fortune. Rehab and his own willpower to sort himself was, in the end, the making of him. :)

                Did quite a bit more planting out and trimming back/ pulling out of spent plants. Very warm again today.

                  I was sure I posted here around 4.30 a.m. :scratch: Must have been a senior moment :old: :noidea:

                  An hour's gardening done, polling station opened and I'm off to an 8.30 meeting. Then final shopping for Open Day. 24 pints of milk, 20 litres of water, five loaves of bread (for sandwiches for GC members and helpers), in greedy ants for sandwiches :heehee:, fruit for Pimms, disposable plates for cake, plastic cups for Pimms, 500 serviettes etc. etc. Whilst at the polling station I saved a journey by collecting a tea urn, tea pots, glass jugs etc.

                        You're a glutton for punishment @shiney ....but you seem to thrive in it!! This time next week it will be done and dusted and your supported charities will be very grateful.:)

                        @moyra have you managed to adapt the knee brace to make it more usable and comfortable? You've suffered too long now. If not perhaps your GP could arrange an appointment for a proper made to measure one to be fitted for you. Worth a try :blue thumb:

                        Temps on the rise, today will be hotter that yesterday but then things are due to dip a bit....but still great weather ( despite needing some of the wet stuff)
