Thanks all for your kind words.. it's been a hellish month..

My other ex batt chicken, Pikachu, passed away a week after. Not sure if it was the cause of another exploding fire the weekend before, the broken glass I found in the run (might have ate it!?) or if she was heartbroken from losing her friend. I still have the 3 cochin and 1 polish, though..all chirpy and well, luckily.

My boy Teddy, 15 years old. my constant companion in my garden, was in a tragic attack of a day time raccoon. we did everything medically possible, but the injuries were to severe, he went to heaven on July 5. My morning coffee guy. My Teddy bud. Born on this property is now in a special garden area. I miss him on our flat stone we would just sit at for sweet moments. My buddy. @redstar I'm sorry to hear about your little buddy getting killed by the raccoon. Such a horrible shock. I'm glad that you've got a special place for him on your property and I hope it is a place where you enjoy visiting to say hello.
                          Hugs,

Thank you. We have Teddy's mother with us still, she is about 18 years old, slowing down of course, but she likes to follow me around to her abilities. In the pic is her and Teddy, MomCat is the one with the white bib. Yes, @CanadianLori , he is buried close, on just the edge of the lower garden, his brother's are there with him. Its suppose to be our little grave yard area. We also have his sister left, her name is Sissy. Sissy likes to follow me about, but will not come inside the house, thus a protected heated cat house is for her. Then there is Twitches, a non related soul who happened by 8 years ago and stayed, and fit in with them. He's not a follower, but a lap cat. The hardest thing is the mornings, Teddy was always the greeter to us, liked to talk some and would answer you. Its just quiet without him. I miss him so much. It is fifteen years with him it was, 15. Yes, I know he knew he was loved a lot. Teddy and Mom..jpg

                            Just sitting near me.

Just at the mailbox this morning down the driveway. I looked back to see that he was not there, he'd notice me going there, and watch . When I get home from work, he'd greet me at the sidewalk near the car. This is going to me hard. So many visions I can still see, so many sweet memories.
